The Dartmouth Psychology Internship Program provides track-specific training opportunities for psychology interns seeking to develop expertise in the delivery of clinical services and scholarly research in an academic medical center setting. We are proud to offer training to interns within our four tracks: Adult Psychology, 儿童心理学, 成人神经心理学, 和儿童神经心理学.
The program has been involved in the training of doctoral psychology interns since 1981. It has been continuously accredited by the 美国心理学会 (APA) since 1983 and is currently accredited in full with the next site visit planned for 2027.

The Psychology Internship Program offers training opportunities in a variety of settings belonging to or affiliated with the 精神科. The opportunity to place interns at a variety of affiliated sites provides excellent resources to the DHMC Psychology Internship Program and helps the program to provide interns with sufficient experiential exposure to meet the program's training goals.

The practice frequently provides services to Dartmouth College students and faculty, as well as members of the surrounding communities. All clinicians practicing and supervising at 汉诺威精神病学 are faculty of the 精神科 at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, resulting in a team of highly skilled professionals who remain abreast of best practices in mental health services.

The Neuropsychology interns spend approximately half of their training year providing a wide variety of mental health services at NHH. Training experiences in this setting include diagnostic and neuropsychological evaluations of a predominantly severe and persistent mental illness population, brief and short-term psychotherapy with the inpatient population, and interprofessional collaboration within a multidisciplinary team consultation model. The interns also collaborate with first- and second-year post-doctoral fellows specializing in neuropsychology.
